iDrive Driving School will be following guidelines laid down by the NASP (DVSA & National Instructor Associations).

• ​48 hours before the scheduled lesson

​

You will be required to make payment for the lesson by BACS, Pingt, Paym or credit/debit card 48 hours before the lesson is scheduled to commence or cash payment on the day. Should you be unable to take the lesson due to any of the following: 

1) If you have developed any COVID symptoms. 2) If anyone you know, or have been in contact with, is showing COVID symptoms. 3) If you or anyone you have been in contact with, has travelled from a high-risk infectious region, you will be refunded the full payment made for the said lesson.​

Should you need to cancel a booked driving lesson for any other reason than the reasons set out above, please give a minimum of 48 hours notice. PLEASE NOTE: if you cancel the lesson giving less than 48 hours notice for any reason not stated above, Idrive Driving School reserves the right to charge for the full lesson.

• Vehicle Sanitising

 

The instruction vehicle will be fully sanitised just before the start of every lesson. All points that have/may have been touched by the previous driver will be sanitised using an anti-viral wipe/spray. Sanitised points will include, but not restricted to: steering wheel, handbrake, start button/key, gear lever, all ancillary controls, seat belt & stalk, interior mirror, seat & internal/external door handle & window controls.

• Before accessing the car to start the lesson

You may be asked if your health has changed.

Your temperature may be checked using a non-contact thermometer.

You will be required to wash your hands with soap & water for 20 seconds just before meeting the instructor. Hand sanitising gel (over 70% alcohol) will be available for use if required.

You will be required to wear a face mask when you meet your instructor and during the lesson. If you do not have a mask, a disposable mask will be provided at an additional cost of £1.00 (payment to be taken after the lesson.

You may wear gloves if you wish, but this is not a requirement. However, you will be required to wear clothing that fully covers your arms and legs when the outside temperature is cool. In cold weather please wear suitable clothing as both front windows will be either partially or fully open during the lesson.

 

• During the lesson

Windows will be kept open for ventilation.

• New pupils

​

New pupils will not be required to sign iDrive Driving Schools advertised T&C's. However, you will be required to agree to iDrive Driving Schools T&C's on-line before the first lesson commences.
